The value of a logo. The visual attack

How much? Up to what point?
These are the two questions that I have wondered the most lately when I think about big brands and the astronomical prices of their clothes and accessories.
Up to what would we be willing to pay for a pair of Louboutins?
Which is the line that separates the taste for a certain handbag or the mere vice? Where is the wall of the acceptable and the excessive?
Last summer lots of fashionists and trendsetters dropped their jaws after knowing the price that the riddled with holes tees had but, what did you expect?
The truth is that nowadays nothing let us knocked out, if Cristophe Decarnin wants to sell his t-shirts for a price that some people eats a whole months, it doesn’t matter, the item will finish with a long waiting list.
Which is the thing that makes us move nowadays? Have we something inside that incites us to buy more and more? Do the logos exert some influence on out minds?
Although not everything is reduced to Chanel’s double C or the famous red sole, this can be transferred to the rest of the mortals that buy in Inditex &co, how much are you disposed to pay every season to go on fashion?
And letting this to one side, I don’t know what will happen with the H&M when the collection designed by Alber Elbaz will be on sale, it will be something like the end of the world I think, because after seeing what happened with Jimmy Choo it makes me thing that people will show their animal instinct and will follow the ‘the strongest is the one who survives’ don’t you think?
There is nothing better than a pair of items ‘more or less exclusive’ to mobilize the masses.
As I said… anything stops us.
